As Central Florida continues to experience occasionally heavy rain and winds, the UCF Office of Emergency Management has been keeping a close eye on the track of Tropical Storm Debby.

It is projected that the most severe storm impacts will be along Florida’s west coast and in north Florida. However, Central Florida could experience heavy rains, strong winds and potentially tornado watches.

As of now, all campus operations remain normal.  If changes occur, information will be sent out through the UCF Alert system and will be posted on the UCF home page.

We ask all staff and faculty members and students to monitor the storm through the news and weather channels and to visit the Office of Emergency Management’s website for resources on hurricane preparedness.
