Educators will share and learn about valuable literacy practices at the UCF College of Education’s 14th-annual Literacy Symposium.

The professional development event will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 6, in the Morgridge International Reading Center.

The symposium is offered to pre-kindergarten through high school teachers, staff and administrators. The day will focus on celebrating literacy and learning, and this year’s theme is Classroom Interventions That Work (K-12).

Throughout the day guests will have the chance to network with other educators and attend breakout sessions that focus on quality reading instruction, technology and supporting the literacy needs of all students.
