“Can you own the runway?”

This is the question that UCF College of Business Administration (#UCFBusiness) students are prompted to answer in order to earn a place as a model in the first ever #UCFBusiness Professional Fashion Show.

Thirty-eight students have submitted video to the Office of Professional Development (viewable at www.facebook.com/ucfopd/videos). Twenty of those students will be chosen to participate in the fashion show and receive a professional makeover that includes hair, make-up, a professional attire consultation, and professional photos for their LinkedIn profile. One of these students will be selected by the Office of Professional Development to win a free professional outfit from the event sponsor, Kohl’s.

The #UCFBusiness Office of Professional Development will be hosting the 1st Annual Professional Fashion Show on March 20, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Business Administration Building 1, Room 107.

“This is a fun opportunity for us to connect with our students, and provide a hands on opportunity for them to look like the professionals we are coaching them to be,” said Career Coach Kelly Bogey. “Always dress to impress- as we have all heard, dress for the job you want, not the job you have. We hope to see students own the runway at the event and in their career.”
