The UCF Chapter of College DECA at the College of Business Administration received numerous awards at the recent Florida Association of College DECA State Career Development Conference. Sixteen UCF students participated in 14 different marketing and management competitive events. Students competed against participants from six other colleges and universities in business simulations, case studies and prepared business presentations. All UCF participants were at least finalists in their competitive events, and four individuals and teams placed first, four placed second and five placed third.
In addition, the UCF Chapter received the 4-Star Chapter Activities Award. Qualified students were invited to compete in the International Career Development Conference April 16-21 in Louisville, KY.
