UCF women’s soccer head coach Amanda Cromwell once again is heading overseas to represent United States Soccer in a very important role. The State Department and U.S. Soccer are teaming up to send Cromwell and former National Team goalkeeper Briana Scurry to Germany to do goodwill missions through soccer starting May 1.

Cromwell and Scurry both played for the U.S. Women’s National Team, with the Knights’ coach suiting up in the Red, White and Blue from 1991-98. Cromwell, who just finished her 12th season with UCF, has worked as an assistant coach in recent years for the National Team and the U-20 National Team.

The duo will be in Germany from May 1-7 and visiting cities the U.S. women will be playing in during the World Cup this summer. They will be raising awareness not only for the World Cup but also to get people out to cheer for the Americans by doing clinics and visiting with players and families.
