UCF Main Campus
President Charles Millican dedicated the Education Building on January 15, 1977. Then, there was significant emphasis on its use as an athletic facility for intercollegiate competition, despite the gymnasium covering just 17,235 of 112,000 total square feet. Today, the Education Complex is home to the College of Community Innovation and Education. The facility houses the Department of Counselor Education and School Psychology, the Department of Educational Leadership and Higher Education, the Department of Learning Sciences and Educational Research, the School of Teacher Education and the Community Counseling and Research Clinic.
