Florida’s Blood Centers has had a tough month for blood donations, resulting in a real risk of blood shortage. To help solve this problem, Florida’s Blood Centers will send a blood mobile to UCF.
As an incentive to students, faculty and staff members and members of the community, Florida’s Blood Centers will give each donor two free movie tickets. Donors will also receive a voucher for a free appetizer from T.G.I. Fridays.
The blood mobile will be in front of the Student Union Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, June 25-27, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Additional staff will be present at the blood mobile next week to reduce wait time for donors and increase donation capacity.
