For University of Central Florida scientist Dinender Singla, it’s also about finding a way to heal the vital organ after a heart attack so patients can enjoy a better quality of life.

Singla’s research focuses on using stem cells to trigger the heart to repair itself after cardiac injury. He will discuss his cutting-edge research at a UCF College of Medicine Luminary Series presentation on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
