The unattended briefcase near the Reflecting Pond has been cleared by authorities. All campus operations are normal at this time.
UCF Police, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Orange County Fire Rescue investigated the unattended briefcase by the Salsa 2 Go kiosk east of the Reflecting Pond. In an abundance of caution, a small outside area on the east side of the Reflecting Pond was cordoned off starting shortly after 5 p.m. All campus buildings and roads remained open. The only parking lot closure was lot B-2 adjacent to Millican Hall.
