The Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport (TIDES), part of the DeVos Sport Business Management Graduate Program in the College of Business Administration, has released a report that examines the hiring practices among NCAA Division I women’s basketball head coaching positions. “Scoring the Hire,” a 21-page report that was supported and funded by the Black Coaches and Administrators, concludes that universities are making a conscious effort to be more inclusive in their hiring processes. Of the 16 schools that were analyzed in the study, 14 received “A’s.”
