University of Central Florida has many talented employees who use their creativity in their daily jobs. Many of these employees are “visual artists” who create artwork for themselves, their families and/or for the public. These creative artists will display their artwork in the UCF Artists Exposed exhibition in the UCF Library, Orlando campus, August 3 through 30.

Artists include Amy Kleeman, Russ Muller, Fiona Murphy, Judy Bragg Pardo, Brian Pate, and Jimmy Watson (Student Development and Enrollment Services); Dawn Herrod, Diane Reitz and Tina Tran (Strategy, Marketing, Communications, and Admissions); Skip West (Facilities and Safety); and Allison House (College of Engineering and Computer Science). The group has invited a guest artist, Tony Cervone–UCF retiree and former faculty, to show his work in the exhibition. Many of these artists participated in the UCF Artists Uncovered exhibition, September 2008; this year, they are exposed.

The artwork will be displayed along the UCF Library Art Wall as well in two cases and a table display. The show encompasses a variety of styles and mediums, including photography, oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, sculpture, jewelry, graphic and digital art. The exhibition is coordinated by Pardo. For questions on the exhibition, e-mail judyart23@aol.com.

UCF Artists Exposed exhibition opening reception is Thursday, August 6 from 4-6 p.m. at the UCF Library, Room 223.
