View your SAP status on the Student Self Service Center in the myUCF portal by selecting the “View Financial Aid” link for the appropriate aid year. Then select the “Satisfactory Academic Progress” link once on the award page.

Status Explanations

Status: Meet

Student is meeting all SAP components. Meet SAP status does not impact student’s eligibility for Title IV financial aid.

Status: Warning

Student does not meet GPA and/or Completion Ratio components of SAP. Warning SAP status does not impact student’s eligibility for Title IV financial aid.

Note: Warning SAP status will only be granted for one semester of enrollment. Failure to meet all terms of SAP with grades earned during the Warning semester will result in cancellation of aid eligibility for semesters moving forward.

Status: Not Meet

Student has exceeded Maximum Time Frame component of SAP and/or failed to meet all components of SAP at the end of their Warning semester. Not Meet SAP status causes students to be ineligible to receive Title IV financial aid.

Status: Probation

Student is not meeting one or more components of SAP and has an approved SAP Appeal on record with the office. Probation SAP status does not impact student eligibility to receive Title IV financial aid only for coursework required for completion of degree.
