Movers and shakers in the Central Florida business community and members of the UCF Foundation’s finance and investment committees were among the guests at a recent panel discussion entitled Energy Outlook, part of the UCF Foundation Investment Committee Speaker Series, on July 23 at the Citrus Club in downtown Orlando.
Guests were welcomed by James W. Ferrell, vice chair of the UCF Foundation Board of Directors and chair of the UCF Foundation Investment Committee. Michael J. Morsberger, UCF vice president for alumni relations and development, and chief executive officer of the UCF Foundation, talked about the outlook for the foundation and the university’s comprehensive campaign.
Sean Snaith, director of the UCF Institute for Economic Competitiveness, moderated the main panel discussion on energy. Snaith is a nationally recognized economist in the field of business and economic forecasting, who applies academic expertise to solve real-world problems.
Panelists included Andrew Brett, with NEPC’s Real Estate/Real Assets team; Ted Gardner, director of Salient Partners; Andrew Kapp, executive director and investment principal for the Infrastructure Investments Group with J.P. Morgan.
