A general business major, Sosa boasts a 3.62 cumulative grade point average. On the court, he is the Knights’ second-leading scorer at 10.4 points per game. The shooting guard ranks second in C-USA, shooting 42.9 percent from deep.
Sosa has led the Knights in scoring seven times this year, and has scored in double-figures on 14 occasions. He also has a pair of 20-point scoring performances.
Sosa has connected on at least three 3-pointers in a game 13 times in 2009-10.
Representatives from each C-USA school’s media relations office selected the all-academic team. Sosa was joined on the squad by Connor Frizzelle and Lucas Kuipers of Rice, George Drake of UAB and Isaac Gordon of UTEP.
