BIOGRAPHY:
Anthony received his BS in Biology and Environmental Science from Iowa State University in 2019. Anthony is a biogeochemist and ecologist who has studied nutrient cycling across diverse ecosystems. He is committed to mentoring student research and participating in student outreach initiatives.
RESEARCH:
Anthony is interested in understanding how the biogeochemical cycles of coastal wetlands may be impacted by changes in the environment and anthropogenic activities. His research is currently investigating soil organic matter stability within coastal wetlands and how this may differ between restored and natural coastal wetlands.
