Conducting legal research into the policies, resolutions, and laws that have been enacted or considered in American cities that are serious about preparing for and mitigating climate change impacts. These urban impacts include extreme heat events, stronger and more frequent hurricanes, and floods and storm surges. The City of Orlando is one of the cities being researched by reviewing its laws, publicly-stated objectives, and interviews.
