The Access Program is for selected groups of freshmen who receive additional academic preparation before attending classes in the fall. Participants in these intensive programs are evaluated solely by UCF's Undergraduate Admissions Office and participation is by invitation only.

Sometimes we can all use a bit of study help, and at UCF’s Student Academic Resource Center, our Learning Skills Specialists are here when you need them.


Shopping malls may be passé, but if you’re enrolled in Intermediate or College Algebra, Trigonometry or Precalculus, you’ll definitely be spending some time at the UCF MALL — a state-of-the-art computer lab providing hands-on learning and one-on-one assistance.

For those times when you need a hand but are unable to attend regularly scheduled peer tutoring or Supplemental Instruction sessions at the Orlando campus, check out UCF’s OPAL sessions.

The Student Academic Resource Center (SARC) provides high-quality academic support programs, including tutoring and supplemental instruction, retention programs, and various other academic programs and services.

Need a boost in biology or extra help in organic chemistry? Be sure to check out Supplemental Instruction. SI sessions are open to all students who want to increase their understanding of course material and improve their grades. These voluntary, peer-assisted study groups offer students a chance to compare notes, discuss important concepts, develop strategies for studying and quiz each other before big tests

The Think 30 campaign was created to encourage UCF students to complete 30 credit hours each year with the goal of a timely graduation that minimizes the expense of a college degree.

Get an edge on your academics with free tutoring from the Student Academic Resource Center (SARC). Peer tutoring sessions are provided in more than 30 subjects each semester, and we offer tutoring labs designed specifically for our student veterans and students in the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
