With resources aimed at student success and opportunities to get engaged in the UCF community, FYE provides students and family members the support they need to make a smooth transition into UCF. The Knights Helping Knights Pantry provides UCF students with access to free food and necessities when they need it most. The thriving food pantry program, which began in 2009 as a class project in a first-year LEAD Scholars course, is located in Ferrell Commons next to the All Knight Study facility.

Knowing your status is the first step in keeping yourself and others safe. With HIV and STI testing from both UCF Student Health Services and UCF Wellness and Health Promotion Services, it's easy to get tested and have a better understanding of your health. If you are 25 or younger and sexually active, you should be screened for sexually transmitted infections at least once a year—even if you don’t have symptoms

If you’re ready to quit smoking, we’re ready to help. Smoke-Free UCF offers programs and prescriptions to assist students and faculty members in breaking the habit. Six-week classes led by Quit Smoking Now facilitators are available for groups and individuals. Classes are free and include nicotine replacement therapies, such as gum, lozenges and patches.

That’s why we created the Collegiate Recovery Community at UCF as a way to foster a sense of belonging and accomplishment for students who choose to lead a sober lifestyle. Suicide is the second-leading cause of death among college students, but it is also one of the most preventable causes of death. Can you spot the warning signs and help make a difference? With our suicide prevention course, you will be trained to QPR — question, persuade and refer — someone who may be suicidal.

Located on the first floor of the CFE Arena, VARC is a welcoming environment with services to help student veterans make a smooth transition to college, access their benefits and succeed at UCF.

UCF Victim Services provides free and confidential advocacy and support to the UCF community all day, every day. Comprehensive victim advocacy services are available to students, faculty, staff and visitors to campus who have been impacted by crime, violence or abuse.

UCF Women's Care, located in the Purple Pod of the UCF Health Center, is dedicated to providing care designed for the unique needs of women. The Purple Pod is a warm, caring environment where board-certified gynecologists and certified nurse practitioners provide preventive and acute gynecologic care. As a UCF student, your routine visits are free. There are nominal charges for lab work and specialty care services.
