UCF Outdoor Adventure also offers accessible and inclusive outdoor equipment so every Knight can enjoy the outdoors.

Additional Services

The Outdoor Adventure Trips Program provides students an opportunity to enhance their experience at UCF by providing fun and enriching outdoor experiences. From 1-day excursions to week-long expeditions, Outdoor Adventures offers a variety of trips for students to choose from.

The UCF Challenge Course program is committed to enhance team-building, self-confidence, and leadership development through adventure-based learning experiences. We design your program based on group needs and goals. Activities can be tailored to strengthen group cohesiveness, communication, trust, group processing, interpersonal relationships, individual members' self-awareness and confidence level. Through our activities, groups are being socially, mentally, physically, and environmentally challenged in a positive and fun environment.

Our entry-level SCUBA certification course, you will learn the fundamental knowledge and skills to safely SCUBA dive in open water. The format of this class is two consecutive weekends of training which includes classroom work and practice dives in the pool (Click on the link above for the entire schedule). The total cost of the certification is $320 ($40 due at registration). The items included in the cost are: instruction, classroom materials, and SCUBA gear. Transportation is not included.

All rental equipment and resource materials are available to UCF students and current RWC members at the Outdoor Adventure Center (OAC). The OAC is room 154, located on the first floor of the Recreation and Wellness Center, just past the racquetball courts, across from the RWC Wet Classroom and Men's locker room entrance to the lap pool.
