Living on campus also provides you with endless opportunities to get involved in student activities and succeed academically. At UCF, the on-campus living experience truly makes a big difference.

Similar to the EXCEL program, but exclusively for females, Girls EXCELing in Math and Science aims to increase success rates for of science, technology, engineering and math students during their first two years at UCF.

In an effort to increase retention in STEM disciplines and promote academic success, the Learning Environment and Academic Research Network was established at UCF as a living-learning community.

If we had to pick one word to describe our Out of State Student Mentoring program, it’d be awesome — and that’s how the acronym OSSM is pronounced!
