Quality Enhancement Plan
UCF’s Quality Enhancement Plan, What’s Next: Integrative Learning for Professional and Civic Preparation, is a five-year plan that prepares undergraduates for success in their professional and civic lives.
It helps students plan their futures post-graduation by setting goals and identifying the knowledge and skills necessary to reach them. Students learn to connect classroom knowledge and skills and apply them in real-world contexts. They’re also able to reflect on and communicate their experiences and advocate for themselves. The QEP office provides faculty with materials and guidance to incorporate integrative learning in their curricula. It also offers competitive funds to teams and individuals interested in developing integrative learning initiatives.
The QEP is a requirement for reaffirmation of accreditation with UCF’s regional accrediting agency (SACSCOC).
