The Career & Technical Education M.A. program is committed to helping individuals pursuing careers in career and technical education or and industry and business training to attain the highest degree of competence possible in their chosen fields. The program emphasizes the intellectual growth of each student using research-based teaching techniques, scholarly learning, laboratory-field experience and leadership development. The program aims to articulate with secondary and post-secondary schools, vocational/technical centers, junior and community colleges, universities, the military and professional organizations in an effort to improve the quality of instructional personnel.

Please note: This program may be completed online, although not all elective options or program prerequisites may be offered online. Newly admitted students choosing to complete this program exclusively via UCF online classes may enroll with a reduction in campus-based fees.

International students (F or J visa) are required to enroll in a full-time course load of 9 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters.
