Mass Media Minor

This minor allows students to explore their interest in media studies by taking a range of courses related to advertising, film, journalism, and media production & management.

Minor Requirements

• A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required in all courses used to satisfy the minor.
• Grades below "C" (2.0) in lower level courses are not accepted in the minor.
• At least 12 hours used in the minor must be earned at UCF within the Nicholson School of Communication and Media.

Prerequisite Courses

• Students must satisfy each course's prerequisites before enrolling in the course.

Restricted Electives

• Complete all of the following
  • Additional restricted electives can be taken as approved by an Academic Success Coach (ASC) in consultation with the Minor’s faculty advisor.
