The Graduate Certificate in Modeling and Simulation of Digital Twins offers students with an interdisciplinary background in Digital Twins technologies, machine learning, simulation modeling, and data analytics. This program will enhance the student’s ability to understand and analyze complex systems and processes while designing and deploying innovative Digital Twin solutions.
Students will gain an understanding of a spectrum of concepts and corresponding skills. Through the core and elective courses, students will study the following:
Digital Transformation Strategies: Understanding how Digital Twins contribute to broader digital transformation initiatives within organizations.
Business Process Mapping and Gap Analysis: Identifying and addressing inefficiencies in business processes through Digital Twin implementations.
Simulation Modeling and Visualization: Creating and visualizing dynamic models that replicate physical systems and processes.
Machine Learning and Data Analytics: Applying AI and ML algorithms to analyze data and improve Digital Twin accuracy and functionality.
Real-Time Data Processing and Synchronization: Techniques for managing and integrating live data streams essential for accurate Digital Twin operations.
Ethical and Governance Issues in Digital Technologies: Addressing the ethical implications and governance frameworks necessary for responsible Digital Twin deployment.
Total Credit Hours Required: 12 Credit Hours Minimum beyond the Bachelor's Degree
Please note: The Modeling and Simulation of Digital Twin Graduate Certificate may be completed online. Newly admitted students choosing to complete this program exclusively via UCF online classes may enroll with a reduction in campus-based fees. International students (F or J visa) are required to enroll in a full-time course load of 9 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters.
