The Minor in French and Francophone Studies focuses on the study of languages, cultures, and literatures in France and in the numerous countries where French is spoken, as the official or second language. French is one of the most widely spoken languages globally, with over 230 million speakers across 57 countries. At the UCF Department of Modern Languages & Literatures, we offer comprehensive courses in French language, Francophone literature, culture, linguistics and translation.
