The Teacher Education B.S., Art Education Lifelong Learning Track (non-certification) is specifically focused on students who wish to use their knowledge of Art Education to pursue education careers.

Teacher Education B.S., Art Education Lifelong Learning Track is an accelerated degree program. The Program offers a comprehensive, streamlined curriculum designed for motivated students to complete their bachelor’s degree in three years and their master’s degree in year four. This innovative 3+1 pathway blends rigorous coursework, field experiences, and graduate-level preparation, allowing students to enter the workforce earlier with advanced credentials and specialized expertise to serve students in a broad spectrum of professional opportunities including nonprofits and non-traditional educational agencies. The Lifelong Learning Track is appropriate for students seeking opportunities for employment outside formal, K-12 schools that do not require certification.

Students in the accelerated Art Education Lifelong Learning track may take 9 hours of graduate courses as Senior Scholars during their B.S. that may be applied towards total credit hours in the Teacher Education MAT Art Education program which prepare students for certification to teach in traditional K-12 classrooms. The program Plan of Study provides a regimented course sequence with lighter summers.
