The Data Science minor program is a cooperative effort between the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Statistics and Data Science, the Department of Computer Science, and the Department of Industrial Engineering. The Data Science minor program offers students the chance to develop an appreciation for applying data science alongside their major program. This prepares them for academic, industrial or governmental employment, as well as advanced study, while also fostering analytical skills, initiative and independence that are valuable for general problem-solving.
