The goal of interfaith dialogue is to facilitate connections among people of different religious affiliations in order to build relationships and foster constructive dialogue regarding issues of shared social concern. Through coursework in this program, students will gain a basic foundation in the main principles of interfaith and interreligious cooperation, including religious literacy, pluralism, dialogue facilitation, tolerance, conflict resolution, and appreciation for diversity, and will be able to better recognize and address issues of religious difference and its impact on everyday life. The skills and knowledge gained through this certificate program will be relevant to students interested in the liberal arts and humanities, as well as professions such as medicine, business, education, social work, and technology.

Other Requirements
- A grade of "C" (2.0) or better is required in all courses used to satisfy the certificate.
- At least 9 hours used in the certificate must be earned at UCF within the department.
- Independent Study, Internship, or Co-op credit can only be used toward the certificate with the consent of the Program Director.
- No credit by exam (TSD, military credit) may be used.
- No more than 6 credit hours can overlap with the certificate and a student's major.
