Departmental Exit Requirements
- Students must earn a minimum 2.0 overall GPA in course work taken within the Rosen College of Hospitality Management, and a minimum 2.0 GPA in all courses listed in the common program prerequisites, the basic and advanced core courses, and the restricted electives.
University Minimum Exit Requirements
- A 2.0 UCF GPA
- 42 semester hours of upper division credit completed
- 30 of the last 39 hours of course work must be completed in residency at UCF.
- A maximum of 45 hours of extension, correspondence, CLEP, Credit by Exam, and Armed Forces credits permitted.
- Complete the General Education Program, the State Writing and Math Requirement, and nine hours of Summer credit.

Transfer Notes
- Lower division courses will not substitute for upper division courses.
- Transfer coursework is reviewed by the appropriate Department Chair to determine equivalency. Acceptance is subject to the general grade and residence requirements; credit will be granted if deemed equivalent to required course work within the Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Only grades of “C” or higher will be considered for transfer equivalency.
- Florida College System institution students are encouraged to complete general education requirements, prior to transferring to UCF.
- A minimum of 30 semester hours must be completed at UCF within the Rosen College of Hospitality Management.
