Biography
Dr. Breiter is a Tourism, Events and Attractions Department Professor Emerita at Rosen College. She also holds the endowed position in Convention and Conference Management. She has been published in many well-respected journals in the field, including Tourism Management, Event Management, The Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research, The Cornell Quarterly and the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. Dr. Breiter’s teaching focus is on conventions and trade shows. She spearheaded the introduction of the first Bachelor of Science in Event Management in the United States. There are now more than 1,200 students enrolled in this degree program.
