This year's tournament delivers a golfing experience that can challenge the pros and those just learning the game. An awards banquet and buffet lunch will follow 18 holes on one of Florida's best courses. Event proceeds benefit the College of Business Administration Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship as well as chapter operating expenses. 2012 National Science Olympiad
University of Central Florida
More than 7,000 students, educators and parents from all 50 states will come to UCF to compete in the National Science Olympiad tournament May 18-19, 2012. One of the nation's most prestigious science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) competitions, the National Science Olympiad brings together 120 winning middle school and high school teams to compete in rigorous science-related events covering topics in physics, epidemiology, astronomy, chemistry, meteorology and engineering. UCF's main campus will be home to a full day of spectator events (free and open to the public) on Saturday, May 19. Teams will compete in challenges such as Helicopters, a flight endurance contest powered by rubber-band engines; Storm the Castle, a precision catapult exercise; Mission Possible, a Rube Goldberg device using energy transfers to complete a task; and Gravity Vehicle, a test of a car's speed, estimation and accuracy. Come see an actual F-16 Air Force fighter jet! On Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, the U.S. Army ROTC Aviation Adventure Semi and the US Air Force Command Center Alpha will be in UCF's Parking Lot D2 with interactive exhibits that showcase the science behind each branch of the military. Visitors can also enjoy flight simulators, technology displays and more. |

The Knights take on the Rice Owls in an important Conference USA series. Tickets are just $8 for adults and only $5 for UCF faculty and staff members, youths and seniors. UCF students are always admitted FREE.

UCF GA Golf Tournament
Off-Campus
Our next tournament will take place on Saturday, May 19th at Turtle Creek Golf Club. This course is a heavily landscaped, traditional Old Florida course with well-manicured fairways and greens. The address is 1279 Admiralty Boulevard, Rockledge, Florida 32955. The format is Individual Low Gross/Low Net and the absolute cut-off date is May 12, 2012. Singles will be paired by the Tournament Chair.
